Fishing & Church: My Kind of Church

Now this is my kind of church….

A Pastor in Indiana Greenfield, Indiana, had a new idea to spread the word, and it includes Bass Fishing.

Reverend Wade Compton was trying to find away to bring in people, who might not be comfortable going to a traditional church service, into his church. That’s when he had the idea to convert an old bait shop into a second church.

After some music, and of course some talk about the Lord, members of the congregation can then head out back to a fully stocked private lake for a little fishing and relaxation.

I love when churches figure out ways to open their doors to everyone, and spread the Word to those who may not ever step foot into a traditional church.
